Kindred Hospital Sugar Land and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 91-bed hospital treating chronically, critically ill patients with specialized care who require an extended stay in a hospital setting. With 80 long-term acute care beds, including an 18-bed Intensive Care Unit and 11-bed Intermediate Care Unit, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Furthermore, our 11-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness. We are located southwest of Houston in Sugar Land, near a number of shops and restaurants. We are jointly owned with physicians.
Our Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is located on the second floor of Kindred Hospital Sugar Land. Our inpatient rehabilitation services are designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness. The goal is to help each individual function as independently as possible through specialized treatment programs for conditions including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injury, neurological conditions, amputation and trauma.
