Kindred Hospitals provides specialized acute care and rehabilitation for patients with complex wounds.

Common conditions treated at Kindred include, but are not limited to:  

  • Abscess with drainage
  • Amputation wounds
  • Post-operative wound complications
  • Decubitus ulcers
  • Neuropathic/diabetic ulcers
  • Burns or skin condition 15% or more of BSA
  • Necrotic wounds
  • Fornier’s gangrene
  • Multiple wounds requiring complex wound care that prevent the patitent from moving to lower level of care

    • Multi-treatment options for chronic and acute wounds
    • Regular screening for sepsis development
    • Routine assessment for appropriate therapeutic surfaces
    • Replacement schedule for therapeutic surfaces
  • On-site lab and pharmacy
  • Move Early program of early mobilization

  • Negative pressure wound therapy
